Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer/musician/text coach as well as costume/set/music design. Although she usually led from within the ensemble of actors during her last year, she made her first appearance as director (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear.
