It took her six months to be being hospitalized. She was later diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The skater's career together with Denis Samokhin was what made the legend. Together, they participated in two Junior World Championships and placed 7th in both 1993 and 1994. The pair briefly collaborated with Maxim Kachanov. Later, as a team, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games. Both were successful together, securing the Finlandia Trophy two times and taking part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together they achieved greater things but the high point of their relationship was when they placed 15th at the 1998 World Championships.
